This happened in our area earlier this year. The “net” went down and grocery stores was only taking cash, banks weren’t working, and gas stations were down. They “claimed” a line was cut, but the same thing happened in three different areas of our state.

I went to pick up a package last night and luckily had some cash on hand to pay for customs. I hadn’t realized that there was a network issue but noticed that another lady was paying in cash too then I found out. Folks, after this little “experiment” you definitely need to keep some cash within reach for emergencies.
